House rules of the GENE Alliance
The following house rules of the GENE Alliance are to be understood by all members. These house rules are distributed by 4G with the approval of the Admiral.
[1] Policies
The basic policies of the GENE Alliance are available on the following blog
[2] Organization and Positions
The GENE Alliance is made up of the following positions, which make decisions. Each position is equivalent to a rank in the game. The following Admirals and Commodores are referred to as Executives.
a. ADMIRAL: The highest position in the GENE Alliance and the decision maker. The Admiral can delegate decision making to the Commodores.
b. COMMODORE: Assistant to the Admiral & candidate for the next Admiral. In the absence of the Admiral, decisions are discussed by multiple Commodores.
c. PREMIER: A member who has a player level of 30 or higher and has not been demoted.
d. OPERATIVE: A member with a player level of less than 30 who has not been demoted.
e. AGENT: Short-term students from other alliances, demoted our members, etc.
[3] Parliament
The GENE Alliance does not have a parliamentary structure. All members can directly raise issues and propose agenda to the executive.
[4] Personnel
Personnel of the GENE Alliance will be determined by the Admiral.
a.When an Admiral intends to step down, he/she must decide and announce his/her term of office and the next Admiral.
b.Commodores can recall Admirals or run for Admiral.
c.Commodores may nominate new Commodores from among the Premiers to the Admiral.
d. Admiral will invite new alliance members. The Commodores are also delegated the authority to invite on their behalf.
[5] Diplomacy and Military
Diplomacy and military affairs are conducted by the executive under their own authority and responsibility.
a. Military details are set forth in the Combat Protocol. Please do not engage in unplanned battles, as they tend to waste resources. For example, attacks that no one has ordered, or destruction that does not result in points.
b. You are free to interact with other alliances. However, for the purpose of avoiding trouble, providing important information and speaking in galactic chat is prohibited.
c: Diplomacy icons that mean enemy are meant to warn you that you may be attacked. This does not mean that KOS (Kill On Sight) is encouraged or or condone combat.
d: The diplomacy icon heart and hand icons indicate that they are safe for you. If you accidentally attack them, you must immediately send a PM apologizing and report it to the Admiral or Commodores.
[6] Shields and Defense
a. Maintain a peace shield at all times. If your shields go down, your station will be attacked, and this will be damaging to the alliance as a whole. It also benefits the enemy.
[7] Communication
The GENE Alliance strongly requests participation in the communication tool discord. If you are unable to use it, please inform the executive beforehand.
[8] Reporting to the Executive
If any of the following is expected, please report it to the executive immediately. If no report is made, the situation will be handled as an unforeseen incident (illness, accident, malfunction or loss of terminal equipment) (demotion, expulsion, confiscation of resources, etc.).
a. Unable to respond to communication from the executive for more than 3 days
b.Unable to log in for more than 7 days
c.Withdraw from the GENE alliance
d.Retire from the game.
[9] Login and Billing
a. Log in to the game and discord once a day (at least once every three days). You may have received a message from someone.
b. If you can't log in for more than 7 days, please activate the 7-day peace shield and donate all your resources (Parsteel, Tritanium, Dilithium) to the alliance. This is to avoid giving them to the enemy.
c. We will not force you to pay. However, if you fail to actively contribute to the alliance (support, participate in events, steady power-up, etc.), we will consider you a free rider (someone who rides for free).
[10] Prohibited activities
1. Political, religious, or commercial activities.
2. Discrimination on the basis of race, place of residence, gender, occupation, etc.
3. Violence, coercion, and harassment.
