GENEがわずか5名足らずの同盟だったころ、GONTA氏から「HEGE  (Heavenly General) にしようと思ったが、読んだときに ヘゲ はないだろうと。なので少し苦しくても GENE (Heavenly General)  がいいと思った。」と聞いています。
 

2022年4月、トッシー前提督の発議によりGENE同盟の新しい名称の検討を始めました。アイザック現提督になって久しいことと、初期のGENEメンバーのみならず 英語圏メンバー含め全メンバーが日々躍進していることが理由です。
 

メンバーへのアンケート結果では「GENEは変えたくない ＆ Heavenly General は変えてもいい」が大半を占め、色々な案を実際に名乗ってみた末に、ごぼうさん案の 「Generation Next」に決着しました。おもしろい案もいっぱいあったんですけどね。

【宣言文】

我々はスター・トレック・シリーズの世界観、すなわち広大な銀河を探検することを目的としてこのゲームをプレイしています。旅には常にさまざまな困難があり、我々は戦略と戦術そしてお互いの協力により問題を解決しなければなりません。

解決には、遠くへワープし強いNPC (non-player character) を倒すための船と乗組員、そしてそれらを支援するステーションが必要です。このゲームではこれらは戦闘力として数値化されており、我々は戦闘力をより遠くへ旅する目的でのみ保持し向上させています。

戦闘力を向上させるためにはミッションやイベントに毎日挑戦しなければなりません。そして時にはお金も必要です。しかし、挑戦が成功した時の喜びは旅の感動に似ています。我々の内部規則のためにわずかな自由を犠牲にしたとしてもです。

このゲームは、他のプレイヤーを撃ち殺すシューティング・ゲームではく、わたしたちは軍人ではありません。わたしたち探検家から強奪しないでください。わたしたちは日々一歩一歩旅を続けたいだけです。

[declarative statement]

We are playing this game with the aim of exploring through the vast galaxy that is the world of the Star Trek series. There are always different difficulties in the journey and we must solve the problems through strategy, tactics and cooperation with each other.

To solve that, we need a ship and crew to warp far away and defeat a strong NPC (non-player character). And we need a station to support them. In this game, these are quantified as combat power, and we retain and improve our combat power for the sole purpose of traveling further afield.

We have to challenge missions and events every day to improve our combat power. And sometimes you need money too. However, the joy we feel when we succeed in our challenge similar to the excitement of the journey. Even if we sacrificing a little freedom for our house rules.

This game is not a shooting game where you shoot and kill other players. And we are not the military soldier. Please don't rob us explorers. We just want to continue our journey one step at a time, day by day.

当同盟は宣言文の主旨に基づいて外交を行なっており、当同盟と他同盟との間のすべての外交条約は相互に非PvPを確約することを前提としています。提督と大将が判断と決定を行ない、ゲームのアイコンの設定を変更し、当同盟メンバー全員に通達します。

1.当同盟が先制攻撃することはありません。ただし敵対同盟と攻撃目標は除きます。.
2.当同盟メンバーが事故で誤爆した場合は誠意をもって謝罪し対応させていただきます。.
3.当同盟と同一の価値観を共有する同盟と「友好連合」を結成しています。.
4.同盟の方針について相互に尊重する同盟と「友好同盟」条約を結んでいます。.
5.同盟の方針のうち 非PvPについて合意する同盟と「不可侵同盟」条約を結んでいます。

[Diplomacy]

The Alliance conducts its diplomacy in accordance with the principles of the Declaration, And all diplomatic treaties between us and other alliances are predicated on a mutual commitment to ensure non-PvP. The Admiral and commodore will do judgement and decision,and  change the game's icon settings, and notify all members of our alliance.

1.The Alliance will not launch a preemptive attack. However, this does not include hostile alliance or an offensive target.
2.If a member of our alliance accidentally misfire, we will apologize in good faith and deal with it.
3. We have formed a "friendship coalition" with alliances that share the same values as our alliance..
4. We have a "friendly alliance" treaty with an alliance that has mutual respect for the policies of the alliance..
5. We have a "Non-aggression principle alliance" treaty with the other alliance that agrees on non-PvP among our alliance's policies.

わたしたちの交戦規定 (Rules of engagement) は同盟内規の一部にすぎず ROE と命名された規則は存在しません。 わたしたち非PvP同盟にとって軍事力行使を前提とした宣言は意味をなさないからです。

また、他の同盟が提唱する ROE についても同じ理由で支持しません。例えば UC (Under-Cargo) / OC (Over-Cargo) / FC (Full-Cargo) は船の荷物量を示したにすぎず、一方的な暴力や略奪の理由として容認することはありません。

[Rules Of Engagement]

Our rules of engagement are only part of the house rules, There is no rule named ROE.  For us in the non-PvP alliance, declarations based on the use of military force are meaningless.

We also do not support the ROE proposed by other alliances for the same reason. For example, UC (Under-Cargo) / OC (Over-Cargo) / FC (Full-Cargo) only indicate the cargo capacity of a ship, We do not condone it as a reason for unilateral violence or looting.

当同盟に対して明確な宣戦布告が行われた場合には敵対同盟として対抗します。

敵対同盟メンバー以外から当同盟メンバーが攻撃された場合は、攻撃者の意図を確認する目的でプライベート・メッセージを送ります。

攻撃者がメッセージを無視した場合や非友好的な場合など、互いに円満な解決に至らなかった場合は、攻撃目標としてマークします。

[War and attack]

If a clear declaration of war is made against the alliance, it will be opposed as a hostile alliance.

If a member of our alliance is attacked by a non-hostile alliance member, we will send a private message for the purpose of confirming the attacker's intentions.

If the attacker ignores the message, or is unfriendly, or fails to come to an amicable resolution with each other, we mark him/her as an offensive target.

2020年10月09日 GONTA元提督がGENE同盟に復帰しました。

GONTA元提督がGENE同盟を去ったあと、今後GENE同盟をどうするかの議論を交わしましたが Toshi現提督の「GENEの名前は残す」「一緒に強くなろう」の方針のもと仲良く頑張ってきました。

もともとGENEの名前は、General の頭4文字として GONTA元提督によって命名されたもので、スタートレック・シリーズの生みの親（総指揮・脚本・監督）Gene Roddenberry や 英語の遺伝子の意味とも無関係です。

しかし、仲間であった誰かが帰ってくる場所＆同盟ポリシーが受け継がれる場所として GENE同盟が存在していることも事実です。

わたしたちは Toshi現提督のリーダーシップと GONTA元提督の業績に心からエールを贈ります。

【announcement】

October 09, 2020 Former Admiral GONTA returned to the GENE Alliance.

After former Admiral GONTA left GENE alliance, the discussion of what to do with the GENE alliance in the future was exchanged, but the name of GENE of present Admiral Toshi "the name of GENE remains", "let's be strong together", so we worked hard and friendly.

Originally the name of GENE was named by former Admiral GONTA as the first four letters of General, and it has nothing to do with the meaning of Gene Roddenberry, the creator of the Star Trek series (commander-in-chief, screenwriter, and director), and the meaning of the gene of English too.

However, the GENE Alliance exists as a place for someone who was a part of the Alliance to come home, or carry on the Alliance policy.

We applaud the leadership of current Admiral Toshi and the work of former Admiral GONTA.
